The Executive MBA orientation at the Dubai campus began with the lighting of the lamp by the program coordinators which signifies knowledge and the absence of darkness, grief & unhappiness . Followed by an exclusive welcome address and motivational speech by Prof. Christopher Abraham, Head – Dubai campus , Sr. Vice President – Institutional development. The students got an opportunity to introduce themselves to one another over an ice breaking session.

Rohit Punvani working for Emirates NBD, said “ It was great meeting my new batch-mates     during the orientation who were from different backgrounds and some from different nationalities but sharing a common goal. There are professionals like doctors and engineers in the batch and was also glad to know that we have Capt. Delzin Irani from the marine industry. It is always an additional benefit to have such highly qualified people around you in the class”

Vanessa Fernandes working as an associate at Pioneer Insurance Brokers LLC shared her excitement for the program post the orientation. “I was highly inspired by the speech given by the dean of EMBA -Dr. Balakrishna Grandhi. He gave us an overview of academic schedule and enlightened us to get prepared for the exciting learning curve journey. I believe meeting the diversified experienced executive will give us an holistic approach to tailor down respective fields to management focused thinking. It will also aid professional network building in different . We take this as an opportunity to gain knowledge and make best of it, in coming years”
